The Oral History Interview for J. Fred Patton is one of many interviews conducted as a part of the Westark Oral History program. These interviews were completed as one method of documenting the history of Westark College. Billy Higgins, Professor of History at University of Arkansas - Fort Smith directed this project. Many history students and other faculty at Westark College contributed their time, efforts, and expertise in making the Westark Oral History Program a success.
