Interlibrary Loan

Looking for a journal article that the Boreham Library doesn't own? Most databases provide a direct link "Request on Interlibrary Loan" that you can use to create an interlibrary loan request and to get an electronic copy of the article sent to your e-mail.  There is generally no charge for articles acquired through Interlibrary Loan unless the lending library imposes fees.  Interlibrary loan is also used for book loans ordered through World Catalog.

Retractions

What is a retraction?  Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines "retraction" as: a statement saying that something you said or wrote at an earlier time is not true or correct.  Retractions are important because they indicate possibly incorrect information, duplicated information, or faulty research procedures.

Search for retractions published since August 2010 on the Retraction Watch website. A search box is on the right, half-way down the page.  PubMed also informs users of corrections and retractions through the use of field tags.
