Databases are collections of data, organized to be retrieved by a computer. At one time, a library purchased subscriptions to many scholarly journals. Now the library subscribes to databases that contain scholarly articles and other information, and the library's users are given access through a portal. A database is often organized around a particular discipline.
Although you can search for articles from the library's search box (see Searching for Materials in the Library), there may be times when you want to focus on a single database for a targeted search. In that instance, you'll probably want to search one of the databases that have a business focus. Choose from the list below after reading the description. If it sounds useful to you, just click on the name of the database to go there for a direct search.
