Databases will offer different sets of search limiters that you can use to include, or omit, items from appearing in your search results. These limiters allow you to narrow down your result list to just the items that meet your needs. The most common limiters are:
- Full text: This limiter will ensure that your search only returns results to which you have full text access.
- Scholarly/Peer Reviewed: This limiter will only return results that are considered scholarly/have gone through the peer review process.
- Publication Date: Use this limiter to specify a date range or limit to a specific year of publication.
- Language: Specify the language, or languages, of the results.
