There are many journals that publish research articles in the field of mathematics. The popular journals on this list are examples of where mathematicians publish their research.

Scholarly and Peer Reviewed Articles

Scholarly articles provide credible information and often provide the latest research in the sciences and humanities.  Some articles published in journals also have the added distinction or label of peer review.  This indicates that the article has been reviewed, critiqued, and approved by a committee of "peer" experts in a subject field.   Scholarly journals are a preferred and valued means of communication in academia.
