Get a Copy of the Book

Ebook: Boreham Library has purchased a site-wide license of an ebook version of How Humans Learn. The links below will take you to our ebook versions.

Downloading EBSCO eBooks

For desktop computers (PCs or Macs)

  1. Download Adobe Digital Editions. This is the platform you will read the eBook on.
  2. Sign in with your Adobe ID, or create one if necessary.
  3. Return to the Downloadable eBook link above.
  4. Click on "Sign In" in the top blue menu bar.
  5. Sign in with your EBSCO account, or create one if necessary.
  6. In the record for the eBook, click Full Download.
  7. Choose the format (PDF or EPUB), check the box next to "I have Adobe Digital Editions," and click Full Download.
  8. Navigate to your downloads folder and open the eBook you just downloaded. It should open in Adobe Digital Editions.

For mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, or Android Devices)

  1. Follow the steps above for downloading the eBook to your desktop.
  2. Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
  3. Install Adobe Digital Editions.
  4. Sign in with the Adobe ID you created above.
  5. Your eBook library will sync with your desktop library.

For Kindle devices

  • Contact Jason.Byrd@uafs.edu for help loading the book on your Kindle.

Print Book: Coming soon! Boreham Library has a limited number of copies of the book in print. As soon as they are ready for checkout, we will post the information here.

About the Author

Joshua Rowe Eyler is the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Clinical Assistant Professor of Teaching Education at the University of Mississippi. His PhD is in English from the University of Connecticut. He has previously worked at Rice University, George Mason University, and Columbus State University.
